Beautiful Pet-Friendly Perennials For Powell River

If you've got pets, you probably love them just as much as you love your garden—maybe even a smidgeon more! Unfortunately, sometimes pets and gardening don't mix well, and not just because Rover might like to help with the digging. Some plants can make our pets sick, so it can be challenging to know what you can grow without endangering your furry friends.

Luckily, the plant world is extremely diverse, and there are plenty of plants—both annuals and perennials—that are completely safe for pets. You’ll still want to discourage them from eating your plants (teeth marks aren’t a good look for flowers and leaves!), but at the very least, you’ll know they’ll be safe if they do sneak a few nibbles.

Here are some beautiful pet-friendly perennials that we can grow in Powell River.
